In the pursuit of “Dual Carbon” goal and critical period of transformation and upgrading of coking industry, a scientific, standardized, and implementable energy efficiency benchmarking system has become crucial for addressing uneven energy utilization efficiency in the industry and promoting green and low-carbon development. Recently, the group standard "Coking Enterprise Energy Efficiency Benchmarking Guide" (T/CCIAA25-2025) was officially released, which was managed by the China Coking Industry Association with our company serving as a core drafting unit. This standard fills a gap in the standardization of energy efficiency benchmarking for the coking industry, injecting new momentum into its high-quality development.

For a long time, there are differences in production scale, technological equipment, and management levels among coking enterprises and these have led to noticeable disparities in energy efficiency performance. Under this background, we took the initiative and led the standard development along with the industry partners to explore the "common language" for energy efficiency benchmarking by relying on our technological accumulation and practical experiences through many-year deep exploration in CDQ industry. The diverse needs of the industry have been considered fully in the "Coking Enterprise Energy Efficiency Benchmarking Guide". In the Guide, diverse benchmarking methods and index computation mode have been prepared aiming at diverse production needs for individual and steel joint coking enterprises to assure the applicability and practicality of the standard.

The release of the "Coking Enterprise Energy Efficiency Benchmarking Guide" not only reflects our company's technical strength and sense of industry responsibility but also marks a significant milestone in building consensus and fostering collaborative development in the coking industry. In the future, starting from this standard's release, our company will fully support the China Coking Industry Association in promoting the dissemination and implementation of the Guide. Furthermore, we will regularly organize revisions and improvements to the standard based on technological advancement and policy updating, ensuring the "Coking Enterprise Energy Efficiency Benchmarking Guide" remains advanced and timely. We firmly believe that it will empower more coking enterprises to "benchmark against advanced players, identify gaps, and continuously improve," gradually fostering a positive cycle where "enterprises proactively take benchmarking, and the industry collectively advances." This will lay a solid foundation for the coking industry to embark on a high-quality development characterized by greenness, efficiency, and low carbon emissions.
