Technical Exchange Meeting Between BJCEEE and FHS
From August 19 to 20, 2025, a high-level delegation, led by Mr. Wang Zhaocun, the Chairman of Beijing JC Energy & Environment Engineering Co., Ltd. (Hereinafter referred to as “BJCEEE”), visited Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Corporation (Hereinafter referred to as “FHS”). The delegation members include Vice Chairman-Mr. Yokote Kosuke, Executive Vice President-Mr. Zhu Canpeng, Chief Engineer-Mr. Xu Hairu, and other core management members of BJCEEE, as well as Assistant President-Ms. Hasegawa Ruru from NSESH. The purpose of this visit is to promote advanced energy-saving and environmental protection new technologies and equipment of CDQ to FHS, and to conduct deep consultations on establishing long-term technical support & cooperation.
During the visit, the delegation of BJCEEE was warmly received by the management team of FHS, including Vice President-Mr. Li Xinhua, Vice President-Mr. Zhang Hechuan, and Director of Coking Plant- Mr. Zou Boming, and the deputy director of Coking Plant-Mr. Zhong Changren, Mr. Kan Xingdong, and other relevant technical leaders jointly participated in the exchange. Two sides held talks in a friendly and pragmatic atmosphere, and Vice President-Mr. Li Xinhua warmly welcomed the delegation's visit.
At the meeting, the Chief Engineer of BJCEEE - Mr. Xu Hairu delivered a detailed introduction of China's new technological achievements and efficient equipment solutions in the field of CDQ to FHS. The technical highlights of this promotion include the segmentation of refractory materials for Slop Flue, the longevity of fire bricks of Slope Flue, cyclone-type Primary Dust Catcher, high parameter boiler power generation, supplementary combustion for CDQ, augmented control system, dust control for coke charging, separate-type charging facility, self-flushing water seal pot, etc. These technologies and equipment solutions demonstrate enormous potential in improving efficiency of CDQ and achieving intelligent operation and maintenance.
Both parties also conducted deep exchanges on how to fully utilize the rich experience of BJCEEE in system operation and maintenance to help FHS establish a more complete and scientific management system for CDQ equipment, optimize the process of equipment maintenance, and provide normalized daily operation guidance and technical support to ensure an efficient, long-term, and stable operation of CDQ system. In addition, both parties also exchanged opinions preliminarily on the prospect of application and possibilities of cooperation on the process of full dry quenching.
